This 4 year old cottage sits on a well landscaped section looking out at the sweep of Dunedin’s Green belt and the hills of the Leith Valley. It is nestled within the quiet, well established lower Glenleith community just 10 minutes walk to George Street and the George Street Normal School. The University is just a 15mins walk away and Ross Creek walking trails are just 2 doors away. Sun drenched during the day and well protected from Dunedin’s cold winds creates a micro- climate not usually ascribed to the Leith Valley. Locals here know that this lower Glenleith ‘mini village’ is special. During the Lockdown this year, the locals quickly formed a communication chain that made sure people needing help got help. Neighbors here keep each other safe whilst respecting each other’s privacy.
