Selling the family home at 5 Picardy Street, Morning, from another city as 'loaded' with challenges. I met agents from six agencies, each with a persuasive presentation. My immediate gut reactions afterwards was 'it would have to be Allan. However I also trawled through in from each, just to be sure, and reached the same conclusion. Allan's experience and track record was impressive. Allan's communication was exceptional. He was personable, professional, hardworking and thorough. In my 86 year old mother's words 'always available... quick to respond... nothing was too much trouble'. I had the pleasure in meeting Allan during the selling of my Partners home, in which I very muched like his approach to his marketing strategy, along with his professional view and achieving a great outcome. Later the same year I wanted to put my property at 20 Castlewood Road, Company Bay, Dunedin on the market, at the time the marketing was slow to moderate. This is to state that we have known Allan for approximately 3 months. He was recommended to us as one of the best real estate agents. We had a house for sale in Waitati. It was a lovely home but potentially not that easy to sell in today's difficult market, Allan set to work with great zest. He was happy to come out to Waitati any time and insisted on having 2 open homes every weekend. He kept us well informed about potentially interested buyers and was at all times very encouraging. He was very professional when dealing with us and he took our wishes into account. When it came to negotiations we tended to take his advice and we very quickly learned that we could trust him totally. In the end the sale itself could well have fallen over had it it not been for Allan's diligence and hard work. All parties involved were happy with the final result. We have been very happy with the service received from Allan and we can strongly recommendhim as a real estate agent. We certainly would be happy to use his services again.
