Excellent Communication
When our family viewed the house at 49 Tahuna in Paihia, we were worried about our 3 kids wondering around the house and potentially upsetting the real estate agent. Just before the first lockdown my mother suffered a fall breaking her hip and as a result moved in with us permanently and resulting in the decision to sell her much loved home. The review title says it all. From the time Renate first crossed our doorstep she exhibited enthusiasm for our product, she was well equipped with information on recent sales and she pitched for our listing In a calm, calculated way. Negotiating the commission payable was instigated by her which was a pleasant surprise. The fact she front footed that issue certainly gave her a shoe in, securing the listing. Upon meeting me for the 1st time Renate took the time to talk to me and understand my situation and the type of property I was interested in.

If you ever thought a real estate agents job is easy, think again. I was truly enlightening to see just how hard Renate worked between parties to realise a successful outcome for both. From the outset, they told us “they worked for the vendors” and at every step of the way, we found that to be absolutely true, as they communicated with us regarding every enquiry and offered feedback immediately after a prospective buyer viewed the property. They acted with professional integrity in all aspects of the sale, from presenting us with an accurate market appraisal, liaising and negotiating with prospective buyers and organising the contractual details, including liaising with solicitors on both sides of the sale and purchase agreement. Once a conditional contract was in place, they didn’t just leave us in the dark in terms of the progress on the conditions, but because buyer enquiry continued, they organised a backup in the event that the first contract fell through. As often happens with conditional agreements, the conditions of the first contract failed to be satisfied, but we were happily able to go straight to the backup, which turned out to be the best offer.
