From the outset, they told us “they worked for the vendors” and at every step of the way, we found that to be absolutely true, as they communicated with us regarding every enquiry and offered feedback immediately after a prospective buyer viewed the property. They acted with professional integrity in all aspects of the sale, from presenting us with an accurate market appraisal, liaising and negotiating with prospective buyers and organising the contractual details, including liaising with solicitors on both sides of the sale and purchase agreement. Once a conditional contract was in place, they didn’t just leave us in the dark in terms of the progress on the conditions, but because buyer enquiry continued, they organised a backup in the event that the first contract fell through. As often happens with conditional agreements, the conditions of the first contract failed to be satisfied, but we were happily able to go straight to the backup, which turned out to be the best offer.
