David Schmidt has more than 23 years of leadership and senior management experience across national and international contexts, with a natural progression into real estate’s Commercial sector in 2020. His impact was quickly recognized with the NAI Harcourts Rising Star award. David earned a Bachelor of Applied Management with distinction from Otago, along with marketing and business diplomas.

His genuine passion for people, combined with a practical, tenacious problem-solving approach, drives him to help clients achieve their goals. Since launching his first business in 2005, he has refined a hands-on, collaborative, and communicative style that clients trust. Known for his honesty, ethics, active listening, and quiet yet effective negotiation, David remains reliable in all engagements. Outside work, he shares life with his partner Becky and five children and enjoys golf and a broad range of sports.
